For a description of the database download the attached document A database for industrial noise sources supplies data for the cases in the IMAGINE method where measurement results cannot be used. Workpackage 7 is busy with gathering data to fill the database. The sources range from very specific individual noise sources (like a fork lift truck, for example) to sound power levels for types of industry as a whole. Next to this data, equations can be found that can be used to predict sound power levels based on power consumption, rpm, etc. A small computer program will help the end user to find the right data.
