| Margaret lives in a village. The major road and the nearest rail road are at 1 - 5 km from her house. She can sometimes hear the road traffic noise. Her fields of expertise are noise monitoring, road traffic modelling, management strategies to reduce environmental impact. Margaret is in contact with the British ministries of Transport and Health, the York & Leeds City Councils and several consultancy and software companies in the UK. She is professor of Traffic and Environmental Pollution at ITS.
