ANOTEC stands for Aicraft NOise TEChnology. It was created in October 2001 with the objective to provide high quality consulting services to aircraft and aero-engine manufacturers, airlines, airports, civil aviation authorities and other stakeholders in the field of aircraft noise. Services provided are environmental impact studies, aircraft noise certification, noise reduction technology, software development, etc. Our laboratory is equipped with all necessary instrumentation so as to perform measurements of both exterior and interior aircraft noise. The exterior noise system is approved by various European airworthiness authorities for certification tests according to ICAO Annex 16. Extensive use is made of dedicated software tools, mostly developed in-house. In this manner cost-effective, high quality solutions can be offered to our clients.

Anotec is a private and independent Spanish SME. Although a young company, almost 40 years of working experience in the field of acoustics are accumulated by the staff members of Anotec.

Anotec is partner in the European Silence� project, and is responsible for the development of the Technology Evaluator software. Anotec is leader of the Noise Test Facilities taskgroup and member of the Advisory Committee within the X2-Noise Thematic Network. In 2003 Anotec performed the "Study on current and future aircraft noise exposure at Community airports" for DG-TREN. Anotec is partner in the FP6 Friendcopter project, responsible for the development of the Common Software Platform for helicopter noise predictions.
